SACRED PATH OF INITIATION

RITES OF PASSAGE FOR MAIDEN, MOTHER & CRONE

WHAT IS SACRED PATHS OF INITIATION?

Initiations were once an integral part of the experience of life, and remain so today within many indigenous cultures, but were made illegal by colonial power throughout the world. It was only in recent years that Rites of Passage and Ceremony became illegal in the United States for tribal nations to practice their ancestral ways.

MAIDEN RISING

RITES OF PASSAGE FOR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS

There is indescribable transformative power in taking part in a Rite of Passage, rather than sourcing from the fragmenting initiations of modern society that deplete the soul rather than build and hone in on ones strength and God given gifts. The magic of Rites of Passage is that it allows everyone to honor the wisdom within the shifting human nature from child to elder. You receive inner truth and strength to move powerfully in life, connected to the source of life and universe. with great understanding of your gifts and the power of the heart and our great connection to each other and everything. It is an unforgettable experience of birth, death and rebirth.

Drawing upon tradition and ceremony from a wide range of perineal philosophy and ancient mythology from sacred schools of wisdom at Seeds of Satya we will delve into the wonders of who you truly are through process of inquiry and unforgettable experiences in a supportive circle, learning from each other, nature and Great Spirit.

- Kari Rivers

  • Kari Rivers of Seeds of Satya is responsible for the programming and flow of the programs, however there will be a flow of amazing beings who will participate, assist, inspire and inform the process of the Rites of Passage. Each program is unique in who will be assisting and joining the process.

  • Kari has been involved in the Healing Arts ever since she can remember. She was a Corporate Physical Trainer & Nutrition Counselor in her early years. Soon after she worked at a Child & Adolescent hospital, as well as with a Foster Care Advocate doing Wilderness Therapy & Counseling before there was ever a degree for such. Kari facilitated high and low ropes courses with groups of all ages, as well as guiding Wilderness Trips in Eastern & Western United States with adults and teens. After finishing her BS in nursing , she worked as a Registered Nurse in Trauma, and volunteered her time advocating for sustainable healthcare.

Kari was called into becoming a Spiritual Counselor & Depth Hypnosis Practitioner, where she opened a healing practice in Denver, CO in 2012, and was held in her first formal Rites of Passage as a Young Mother by Pati Turner at Sacred Earth Foundation in Colorado. After completing her Rites of Passage she realized how important this work was and began assisting Pati until she moved to NC in late 2019 where she held her first INTO THE WOMB program for Mothers. Kari was then called to Homeschool her daughters. while still maintaining a relationship with her clients.

Kari has had extensive training in the Healing Arts. She has worked with clients of all ages in person, virtually and in groups. Her life initiations have been numerous including the rigorous and enriching path of “Healer Heal Thyself” which has included deep grief due ot loss of loved ones and buried ancestral grief, Chronic Illness from Lyme, and learning the rich lessons that afflict us all in seen and unseen ways, the perplexing relationship of narcissism.

In her career as a Spiritual Counselor & Depth Hypnosis Practitioner, she has taught various classes, and led workshops and Women’s Circles.

She is passionate and truly believes in this transformative process and how it has radically shifted her life, as well as all those she knows whom she has witnessed and held in these life changing experiential ways.

FROM A PAST PARTICIPANT…

Kari brings gentle, warm, compassionate guidance that is embodied by deep inner strength, and humility from a connection of spirit with our humanness. I now hold so many tools to continue my own growth. Through biography and ancestral exploration I learned how to dig deep and discover things that were holding me back in my life. I learned breathing exercises, how to release stress and pain, how to express joy and healing through my body, and I worked at developing my self acceptance muscles. When Kari sings, it is more than beautiful. Her songs brought comfort, healing and peace, a touch of the divine. Insights came through the rhythm and drumming work we did. Kari’s commitment to guide, help and hold me through my process created a productive container for growth. The trust of Kari’s guidance, reconnection with the sisterhood of my group and a remembrance of what it means to be cared for in friendship was a lifetime gift. I am so grateful for the journey of growth and the new skills I have learned to continue to navigate my life.
